Old houses never stopped asking questions.
I write dark historical fiction about monsters, old houses, and damaged people struggling to become better.
As a child, I invented stories with my brother and sister while our father took us searching for old coins in abandoned houses. I wondered who had lived there, what those walls had witnessed, and whom they had protected when the world became cruel. Those questions eventually became Eldritch Manor.
I served in the United States Navy, later owned an accounting company, and collaborated on nine novels before discovering the world I needed to write for myself. My first Eldritch Manor novel was originally published under Garrett Ward. Future editions appear under my name, F. Craig Ward.
I live in Pensacola with my wife, Kathi, who insists I am not as funny as I think I am. I consider this an unresolved scholarly dispute.
